This privacy notice for KAME Studio ("we," "us," or "our"), describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your information when you use our services ("Services"), such as when you download and use our mobile application Tracking Notice (or any other application of ours that links to this privacy notice) or engage with us in related ways, including customer support and inquiries.

1. What Information Do We Collect & App Permissions

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you contact us for customer support or express interest in our services.

App Permissions & Local Device Data:

• Notification Access (NotificationListenerService): Enables the core features of the app: monitoring notifications from apps you select, evaluating keyword filters, triggering customized sirens/vibrations/strobes, and storing notification history. All notification processing occurs 100% locally on your device.
• Camera Permission (Flashlight Alert): Required solely to toggle the device flashlight strobe during an incoming alert. We never access your camera lens, take photos, or record videos.
• Ignore Battery Optimizations & Foreground Service: Required to keep the background notification monitoring service alive and reliable without being killed by Android system battery management.
• Storage / Media Permissions: Optional permission used solely if you choose to export your notification history to CSV/Excel or select custom ringtones from local storage.

2. How Do We Process Your Information

We process information only to:

• Deliver and maintain the core functionalities of the Tracking Notice application.
• Facilitate alert triggering (sound, vibration, strobe) based on your custom schedules and keyword filters.
• Respond to user feedback and customer support requests.
• Detect and prevent crashes, fraud, or service disruptions via anonymous telemetry.
• Comply with our legal obligations.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR / UK / Canada)

If you are located in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Canada, we process information under the following legal bases:

• Consent: Where you have given explicit consent for specific permissions (e.g. Notification Access, Camera flashlight). You can withdraw your consent at any time via Android system settings.
• Legitimate Interests: When necessary to ensure app stability, detect crashes, prevent abuse, and improve features.
• Legal Obligations: When necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

4. When and With Whom Do We Share Information

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share information in the following limited situations:

• Third-Party Service Providers: Trusted analytics and ad networks (detailed in Section 5) that process non-personal diagnostic or advertising identifiers under strict privacy standards.
• Business Transfers: In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition.
• Legal Compliance: If required to do so by law, subpoena, or governmental request.

5. Third-Party SDKs, Analytics & Advertising

To support free-tier features, deliver subscriptions, and analyze stability, the app integrates the following Google Play-compliant third-party SDKs:

• Google Play Billing (v8.1.0+): Securely processes in-app purchases and subscriptions. We never see or store your credit card or billing information.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) & Consent Management: Displays banner, native, and rewarded ads to free users. Implements IAB TCF 2.2 consent for EEA/UK users.
• Google Analytics for Firebase & Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymous crash logs, device models, OS versions, and app engagement metrics to help us fix bugs and optimize performance.
• Meta Audience Network / Meta Ads SDK: Used for campaign attribution and ad analytics.

6. Subscriptions, Free Trials & In-App Purchases

Tracking Notice offers optional PRO upgrade plans through Google Play:

• Monthly Subscription: Includes an introductory 1-Month Free Trial (where available via Google Play Console). If not canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically renews at the standard monthly rate.
• Annual Subscription: Billed annually at a discounted rate, auto-renews yearly until canceled.
• Lifetime Access: A one-time in-app purchase with no recurring fees or renewals.

Cancellation & Management: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time by opening the Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information

Notification history logs are stored exclusively in your local Room/SQLite database on your device. Logs are retained until you manually tap "Clear History" or uninstall the application. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local records.

8. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe

We maintain technical and organizational safeguards to protect any data processed by the application. Because notification data remains strictly on your device, your data security is further protected by Android's application sandboxing architecture.

9. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. Since no uniform standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

10. United States Privacy Rights

If you reside in California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), or Utah (UCPA), you have specific privacy rights:

• Right to Know / Access: Request details regarding categories of personal data collected, used, or disclosed.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal data maintained by us.
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
• Shine the Light (California Civil Code § 1798.83): We do not disclose personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes.

11. Other Regional Privacy Rights

• EEA, UK & Switzerland: You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your data, or lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
• Australia & New Zealand: We comply with Australia's Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020. You may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (NZ) for unresolved complaints.
• South Africa: In compliance with POPIA, you may submit complaints to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.

12. Children's Privacy

Our application is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

13. Updates to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
